Viola Come il Mare has made its return with a slew of fresh storylines to captivate audiences. But will the daring journalist truly turn her back on Demir? The well-known soap takes inspiration from Simona Tanzi's novel, Tu la conosci l'estate?The first season was directed by Francesca Vicario and Alexis Sweet. Viewers had to wait two years to see the new episodes. The show, in fact, has been delayed.

The story revolves around Viola Vitale, played by talented actress Francesca Chillemi, a journalist who moves to Palermo from Paris. The beautiful protagonist is searching for her father, whom she has never met. Viola, however, has a very special characteristic: she has synesthesia, she can see people's feelings associated with colors. Arriving in Sicily, she begins to work with an online news outlet as a crime reporter. In this way, she meets police chief inspector Francesco Demir.


The two begin to work side by side developing a great understanding. In the last episode of the first season, Viola learned that her father had died. Meanwhile, Demir found the mole who was deflecting the human trafficking case. Finally, the journalist confessed to the inspector that she could not see her color.
