Can Yaman reveals how he prepared for the Sandokan script

The filming of Sandokan, the Lux Vide-targeted TV series starring Can Yaman as the legendary Malaysian Tiger and an international cast that seems to have immediately hit it off, has officially begun. The Turkish actor tells through a video on Instagram how he prepared himself to best learn the script in English.

The filming of Sandokan has officially begun and Can Yaman is definitely full of energy for this project, which, as he recounted on Instagram, had brought him to Italy years ago and will finally see the light of day. 

The TV series, produced by Lux Vide, is a remake of the 1970s TV series of the same name starring Kabir Bedi, inspired by Emilio Salgari's narrative cycle, and with Yaman there will be an international cast. Luca Argentero leaves the role of Yanez de Gomera to Alessandro Preziosi, with whom the Turkish actor seems to have already found a nice chemistry from the first reading of the script.

The cast of Sandokan will be busy for several months between Lazio and Calabria, while Yaman is expected in Albano where some scenes will be shot in the evocative Cisternoni. 

Preparing for the role of the legendary Tiger of Malaya has not been at all easy for Can, who, in addition to having to lose many kilos with an iron diet and undergo intense physical training, has taken dance lessons and learned combat, since many scenes will be precisely of hand-to-hand combat and will have to be as believable as possible.

But equally important is the Sandokan script, which, like that of El Turco, posed the challenge for Yaman to act in English. The actor has decided to tell his millions of fans on Instagram - he has as many as 10.7 million on the well-known social platform - how he prepared to act, posting a few hours ago a video in the company of the coach who oversaw all his preparation and corrected his diction.

In short, it seems that Yaman has really left nothing to chance, testifying as always to his great commitment when it comes to new projects and when it comes to his career, which has definitely been on the rise since his popularity broke out with Daydreamer, the Turkish soap in which he stars with Demet Ozdemir.
