Demet Özdemir and Oğuzhan Koç, who got married on August 28, 2022, surprised everyone by deciding to separate while still sharing loving posts on social media. The famous couple amicably divorced on May 8 in a single hearing. During the case they attended with their lawyers on Büyükada, neither party made any demands from the other.

The previous day, Demet Özdemir had a care at a beauty center in Arnavutköy. The famous actress, who left the place after the procedures, answered the questions of reporters before getting into her car.

Expressing that she attaches great importance to make-up removal in terms of skincare Özdemir said, “While working on set, I pay great attention to makeup removal. We are constantly exposed to makeup. After taking a significant break from the sets for the first time in years, I realized how important it is to have skincare treatments, even if not weekly. Taking care of yourself is not difficult; it's enjoyable, but you need to get used to it. It takes a lot of time.”

The 32-year-old actress responded to the journalists' joke about her "split ends" with, “Let’s not have broken hearts,” and added:

“When I look back, there aren’t people whose hearts I have broken. Hopefully, there aren’t. If there are, I can apologize.”

When asked if there is an emptiness in her heart, Demet Özdemir replied, “Emptiness can be filled with other things. I love my work, my family, nature. If you look for something to love, there is a lot.”

Speaking about the international broadcast of the recently concluded series 'Adım Farah,' Özdemir said, “They also received my previous works very well. It’s a wonderful feeling. We are a more emotional and love-hungry society. We script family ties very beautifully. Our actors are also very successful. For people abroad, watching these bonds is much more impressive. I feel that love, passion, longing, and family conversations completely resonate with the audience.”

Stating that she is currently reading scripts, Özdemir responded to the question “Do you have any dream characters you want to play?” Özdemir replied, “It's not a role that stays with me, but since digital platforms have much more comfortable working hours, that's one of my preferences. I don't want to give up the mainstream either. No matter what, being closest to the country you live in and being able to be on the screens every moment, every week, provides another power. I believe that mainstream has a greater magic for actors who want to give a social message and to stay on the spotlight. I don't have a lot of things that I say I'm stuck with. Because I want to try everything, something different comes to me every year. I look more at stories with female alternation."
