Can Yaman appears in a photo taken by a well-known photographer, but the image has been swarmed by haters, causing an uproar on Instagram.
Can Yaman is still busy on the set of Sandokan. Soon, filming will take him away from Italy for a few weeks before he can present the completed series to the audience of Rai 1 and let viewers judge it. In the meantime, the Turkish actor appears in an artistic photo on Instagram, taken by a well-known photographer who was deeply shocked by the social media hate directed at Can.
Can Yaman, Filming for Sandokan Is Almost Complete
The project for the Sandokan remake, produced by Lux Vide, is gradually taking shape. Can Yaman will be the new Tiger of Malaysia, a significant role given the immense love the Italian public has for Kabir Bedi and his portrayal of the character created by Emilio Salgari. Confident that he won't disappoint expectations, Can is putting all his effort into the production of the series, supported by an international cast that includes Alessandro Preziosi as Yanez de Gomera and British actor Ed Westwick as the antagonist, Lord Brooke.
The Sandokan cast is about to leave Italy to move to Réunion Island, where filming will be completed before the series airs on Rai 1. In the meantime, Yaman has deactivated his Instagram profile for several weeks, but he appeared in a beautiful photo taken by photographer Sergej Onopko. Unfortunately, the photo triggered a massive uproar on social media, and here’s why.
Can Yaman, an Absurd Controversy Erupts
While staying away from Instagram by deactivating his account, and with rumors circulating that he will return to the Venice Film Festival with Dolce & Gabbana, Can Yaman has found himself at the center of a furious controversy once again. Photographer Sergej Onopko posted a photo of the new Sandokan star on social media, but the image was flooded with absurd insults, prompting the artist to vent just a few minutes ago.
“Thanks for all the love and hate comments. I appreciate everyone who shared and liked the photo, but I also appreciate the haters' comments on my profile, created by accounts that were made a minute ago with zero followers. It takes a lot of effort, so every minute spent is a minute well spent to help the algorithm.”
In short, the photographer pointed out that there are fake profiles created solely to insult Can Yaman, showing no hesitation in setting up accounts to flood him with vile words. Many of the Turkish actor’s fans have also weighed in on the matter, noting that this could lead Can to choose to stay away from Instagram for even longer.
