Good news has spread across social media about Birce Akalay and Hakan Kurtaş preparing to get married.

According to journalist Doğan Savaş from the Turkish newspaper Takvim, “the couple is getting ready for marriage after their families met during a vacation in Bodrum last year.”

In a significant move on Instagram some time ago, Birce shared a series of photos with Hakan from their holiday together for the first time.

Several Turkish reports noted that Birce broke her usual privacy by sharing these romantic photos with her boyfriend on Instagram, where she has around 3.2 million followers.

Birce also celebrated her 40th birthday last month, and when asked about her relationship with Hakan, she said: “Happiness is something very beautiful when we share it with someone else... Being at peace... Everything is so wonderful.”
