Can Yaman, who played the lead role in the film Sandokan, spoke during a meeting with his fans in Spain, attended by the press, about his upcoming projects and the dreams he wants to achieve in this country.
The hall at the Novotel Madrid Center, where the event was held, was abuzz as attendees couldn't help but be amazed by his charm and how close they felt to him.
Can Yaman: I Receive a Lot of Love from Spain
The meeting was also attended by many of his fans from Sweden, Germany, Greece, Malta, and far-off places like Arizona, Miami, Florida, and Angola—not to mention those who came from all over Spain.
During the session, Can Yaman reviewed his professional career, highlighted his achieved goals, and outlined what the future holds for him.
He said, "I receive a lot of love from Spain, and I feel a very special connection with Italy, where I studied at an Italian school in Turkey. Living there now keeps me connected with other countries, like this one."
He continued, "Additionally, this closeness allows me to consider the possibility of working here, perhaps in a series or a film."
Regarding his upcoming projects, he said, "I consider myself a versatile actor and don't want to be classified into one genre. My desire is to show different facets and prove that I'm a good actor."
He added, "I love challenges, and in every project, I do my best to adapt to the requirements of the role. Going to Italy was precisely to explore new opportunities outside Turkey. For example, everything I learned in Turkish prepared me to give my best in the film Sandokan."
Fans didn't miss the opportunity to ask him how he feels when watching his previous works. Without hesitation, he replied, "I've evolved a lot professionally. Sometimes, when I look at my old projects, I think I would do them differently now. However, I'm very proud of what I've achieved and all I've learned along the way."
Can also mentioned that he wants to act in a Spanish series, saying, "I will learn Spanish; I want to act in a Spanish series, and I hope to speak Spanish fluently during its filming. I love challenges, and that's why I now dream of working in Spain."
He said during the meeting that "he uses all the money he earns for his charitable foundation, which he established to help and treat needy children."
The successful evening at the Novotel Madrid Center was crowned with cheers and applause. He also signed hundreds of souvenirs and posed for countless photos, always with a smile, never refusing any request from his fans even once. It was a night that will remain in the memory of all those present.
