According to local media, they rented a house with a monthly rent of $5,000 and paid a full year's rent upfront, totaling about $60,000. The newspaper Hurriyet reported, "Kivanc Tatlitug and Basak Dizer chose London to give Kurt Efe a strong start in education."

Their move to London doesn't mean they'll leave their life in Istanbul permanently. While their main residence will be in the UK for now, they plan to visit Turkey regularly.
