Aras Aydın: I’m Very Proud

After attending the Hollywood premiere of Nine Perfect Strangers—a series that also stars Nicole Kidman—Aras Aydın has returned to Turkey. Expressing his emotions, Aydın said simply, “I’m very proud,” while his wife, Melis Birkan, stated that she didn’t feel jealous of Kidman at all.

According to Habertürk journalist Nazif Şahin Karpuz, Aras Aydın, one of the lead actors in the SHOW TV series Siyah Kalp, made waves in Hollywood.

Having just wrapped filming the final episodes of Siyah Kalp, Aras Aydın traveled to Los Angeles with his wife Melis Birkan to attend the premiere of Nine Perfect Strangers, the American series in which he appears.

Months after filming, Aydın was reunited with his co-star Nicole Kidman, and the two spent a long time catching up at the event. A photo of Aydın and Kidman embracing at the premiere quickly gained attention on social media and became a hot topic.

Upon returning to Istanbul, Aras Aydın spoke to reporters at the airport. He shared how honored he felt to be part of an international production, acting alongside globally renowned stars—especially Nicole Kidman.

When asked if she ever felt jealous, Melis Birkan responded: “No, not at all. I’m proud of my husband. He’s achieved something truly remarkable.”
