Here’s what happened...
As Turkey continues to reel from ongoing debates over politics, boycotts, and censorship, the world of entertainment hasn’t been spared. One of the names caught in the storm is actress Aybüke Pusat.
Pusat, who played the character “Neslihan” in the hit TRT series Teşkilat, showed her support on social media following the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu, joining the wave of protests online. On April 2, she backed the “no shopping” call to action — a post that sparked widespread attention and ultimately led to her being abruptly removed from the show. The move triggered major backlash across the country.
But what truly touched people’s hearts was the romantic message showing that she wasn’t alone. Her boyfriend, actor Furkan Andıç, posted a photo of them together, writing, “I’m with you, my love” — a simple yet powerful show of solidarity. The post quickly went viral, receiving thousands of likes and supportive comments from fans.
In fact, Aybüke and Furkan’s relationship isn’t exactly new.
Rumors of romance began back in 2019, after they starred together in the series Her Yerde Sen. They were spotted at the airport soon after, sparking speculation. Since then, they’ve kept their relationship mostly private, though they've occasionally made headlines over alleged breakups or cheating rumors. But this past Valentine’s Day, they shut down all the gossip by sharing a loving photo together and making it clear: their love is still going strong.
Most recently, Furkan Andıç joined Saba Tümer’s YouTube show — and of course, the conversation eventually turned to Aybüke.
His heartfelt words, eyes shining as he spoke, quickly went viral on social media.
“When Aybüke is happy, when she smiles, it warms my heart,”
he said.
“I’ll do whatever I can to keep her happy.” His emotional statement didn’t just move Aybüke — it touched viewers everywhere.
On social media, fans flooded the comments with reactions like, “How can I not believe in love now?”, “That’s a man in love,” and “My faith in love is restored.”
