Pregnant Actress Başak Gümülcinelioğlu Shines on the Cannes Red Carpet

Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, who is four months pregnant, is preparing to crown her three-year marriage to fellow actor Çağrı Çıtanak with the arrival of their first child.

Making history at the Cannes Film Festival, Gümülcinelioğlu became the first expectant Turkish mother to walk the red carpet. The actress revealed her pregnancy publicly for the first time during the prestigious event, sharing the happy news in front of the world.

She attended Cannes as a guest of the renowned jewelry brand Ghafari and turned heads in a stunning custom-designed dress by Iranian designer Mahboobeh Bolandy.

In addition to her red carpet debut as a mom-to-be, Gümülcinelioğlu is also starring in the highly anticipated Disney+ series Aşk’ı Hatırla (Remember Love), which premieres on June 18. She shares the leading role with Turkish stars Hande Erçel and Barış Arduç.
