Bestemsu Özdemir, known as much for her private life as her acting career, candidly spoke about a past betrayal trauma on Saba Tümer’s talk show. Currently in the spotlight with a new romance, the actress shared a painful incident from years ago, which she admitted still affects her deeply.
The betrayal explained in her own words

Özdemir recounted how she found out about her boyfriend’s infidelity through a friend: “My friend called me at 3 a.m., saying they’d seen my boyfriend at the hotel. I immediately went there. It was our former shooting location, so I knew every inch of that hotel after two seasons filming 'Kara Para Aşk.' I parked, went upstairs, and asked someone to tell him to come down. After about half an hour, he finally did. I told him, 'I’ve seen enough, thanks a lot.' But he came down alone. I didn’t have the courage to go upstairs myself—I didn't want to give myself an even bigger trauma.”

 

Cheated on with someone familiar

Özdemir also revealed that the woman involved was someone she knew. “It turned out she was someone familiar, someone we both recently met. He met her just before I did, and I got to know her through work. And there she was, our girl. That day, it was completely over for me,” she said.

Without revealing names, Özdemir mentioned the relationship lasted “about two, two and a half years.” Among the actress’s ex-boyfriends are famous names like Can Yaman and Burak Deniz, sparking curiosity about whether one of them was involved in this betrayal.
