A Stunning Claim From Kerem Arslanoğlu
Kerem Arslanoğlu, one of the cast members of Gözleri Karadeniz—which ended suddenly—shared a striking claim about what happened on set.
In a video posted on his social media account, Arslanoğlu alleged that the incident described publicly as a “set accident” was, in fact, the outcome of a violent incident.
“He Was Beaten,” He Claims
Ahmet Emin Yavuk, a crew member on ATV’s Gözleri Karadeniz, which aired its finale on December 16, passed away yesterday evening. Following Yavuk’s death, actor Kerem Arslanoğlu posted a video on social media claiming that what led to Yavuk being injured on set—and ultimately dying yesterday—was not an accident, but violence.
According to Arslanoğlu’s account, a crew member who shared a room with Yavuk went to confront certain people he had previously had bad blood with. Yavuk allegedly followed behind them in an attempt to break up the fight. Arslanoğlu claimed that Yavuk, unable to control what was happening, called the production coordinator and asked for help, and that when people arrived at the scene, Yavuk was severely injured.
According to Arslanoğlu, caravan team member Ahmet Emin Yavuk was beaten in the hotel room where he was staying, remained in a coma for about a week, and then lost his life yesterday.
“Don’t Let It Be Covered Up”
The actor also claimed that reports saying “he fell and hit his head” do not reflect the truth, stressing that what happened should not be swept under the rug. He said the investigation is ongoing and that the prosecutor’s office and police are handling the process.
Arslanoğlu called for the incident to be fully clarified, saying, “It’s unacceptable for a person to die after being beaten in a hotel room.”
