Hande Erçel: Keep Believing in Fairy Tales and Miracles...

Hande Erçel attended the Moscow gala screening of İki Dünya Bir Dilek last month. Before the screening, her reaction to her bodyguard—after he treated a young fan harshly—quickly became a hot topic on social media.

Her thoughtful response earned praise from both Russian and Turkish viewers. Directed by Ketche, the film is written by Hande Erçel and Elçin Muslu, and also stars Metin Akdülger.

Metin Akdülger addressed the guests in Moscow with a video message. During her speech at the gala, Erçel shared her belief in the project with these words:

“They believed in me. We started this journey together, and now we leave the verdict to you. I was here at the beginning of this year, and I’m ending the year here. You’ve brought me luck.”

The actress also referenced the film’s wish-themed storyline, saying:

“There was always a promise I made in my heart to that little girl inside me. I followed that wish. During this process, so many people held my hand. Starting with my partner, Metin, Mr. Cemal (Okan), and Mr. Timur (Savcı) truly believed in the project. My director, Ketche, also looked at my world from a different perspective. So what I want to tell you is: keep believing in fairy tales and miracles, and be careful what you wish for.”
