According to behind-the-scenes information, this connection started with a chance encounter at the airport. Wanting to improve her English, Hande Erçel rented a place in London and enrolled in a language school.
On her way to the airport to fly to London, Erçel ran into Onur Güvenatam and his team in the lounge area, as they were getting ready to attend the Content London event taking place on December 2–4. The two chatted on the plane, and later met again at a dinner that had been planned with a group of friends. They’ve been seeing each other since then.
For now, nothing has been officially defined. Hande Erçel, who came to Istanbul for a commercial shoot, also said she and Güvenatam are still in the stage of getting to know each other, adding:
“There’s actually nothing to talk about yet… That’s why, if the time comes when it needs to be talked about, we’ll talk about it then, hopefully… It’s very new… It’s such a new situation that—am I not supposed to get to know anyone? Everyone should pause and wait before judging something… These things are fate…”
