Before filming even began for the upcoming series Doc, a major crisis reportedly erupted over the lead role. After İbrahim Çelikkol was announced as the male lead, an agreement was reached with Alina Boz for the female lead role.
Doc was set to be directed by Ketche, who also sits in the director’s chair for Kızılcık Şerbeti. Claims that Ketche wanted to work with Sıla Türkoğlu instead of Alina Boz—and that an offer was made to Türkoğlu accordingly—quickly took over social media. These behind-the-scenes rumors also reignited “favoritism” debates.
SHE FOUND OUT ON A PLANE THAT SHE’D BEEN REMOVED
It was later revealed that Alina Boz learned she had been dropped from the cast while she was on a flight. After everything that happened, Boz spoke for the first time about the issue.“I don’t really want to talk about it too much,” Boz said. “The excitement of starting a journey with a team can be huge—but the disappointment can be just as huge. But then life opens new doors for you, and you end up saying, ‘I’m glad.’”
It was also claimed that Ketche, known as the first director of Kızılcık Şerbeti, tried to persuade Sıla Türkoğlu.
