Actress Alina Boz, who was preparing to return to the screen with the Turkish adaptation of the series Doc, was reportedly left stunned after learning she had been removed from the cast—while she was on a plane.
Alina Boz, who had been set to take the lead role in the Turkish remake of Italy’s hit series Doc, has reportedly been dropped from the project.
Sources claim the actress had already reached an agreement with the production company, attended the table read, and even announced the news with a social media post. But in an unexpected twist, she was removed from the show. It’s also alleged that Boz found out about the decision through reports spreading on social media while she was on a return flight from vacation with her husband.
It’s now being said that she may file a lawsuit against the production company.Sıla Türkoğlu—who recently left Kızılcık Şerbeti—has now replaced her and taken over the role. It’s also reported that Ketche, the director set to helm Doc and the first director of Kızılcık Şerbeti, was the one who helped convince Türkoğlu to join the project.
