Umut Evirgen Detained After Going to Watch His Wife Alina Boz’s Play

It has been reported that Umut Evirgen was detained this evening at Zorlu PSM, where he had gone to attend a performance of the play Palamut Zamanı, starring his wife Alina Boz. Evirgen was reportedly taken into custody “as part of a drug investigation.”

According to journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Umut Evirgen has now been detained.

It was learned that Evirgen was taken into custody this evening at Zorlu PSM, where he had gone to watch the performance of Palamut Zamanı, in which his wife Alina Boz plays the lead role.

Evirgen was reportedly detained “as part of a drug investigation.”

It was also revealed that Evirgen’s home had been raided in recent weeks, and that he was released after giving a statement.
