Actor Barış Arduç made headlines this time not for his roles, but for a dispute with his tenant.
Barış Arduç realized that the tenant of his home in Beşiktaş had been paying less than the full rent for three months. Despite notifying the tenant several times, he reportedly didn’t receive a positive response.
As a result, the actor initiated enforcement proceedings to recover the 50,000 TL shortfall.
However, when the tenant objected to the enforcement action, the matter was taken to court.
Arduç applied to the Istanbul Civil Court of Peace, requesting that the tenant’s objection be annulled.
In the petition submitted to the court, it was stated that the tenant had underpaid the rent for three months and that the debt had not been settled despite repeated warnings.
At a hearing held recently, the court issued its decision.
The court ruled in favor of Barış Arduç.
According to a report by Armağan Yılmaz in Sabah, the tenant was ordered to pay the actor the missing 50,000 TL.
With the court’s decision, Barış Arduç’s loss was compensated.
