Eventually, the international cast was officially announced, featuring Can Yaman as the Tiger of Malaysia, Alessandro Preziosi as Yanez de Gomera, Alanah Bloor as Lady Marianna—also known as the Pearl of Labuan, who captures the heart of the fearless corsair—and British actor Ed Westwick as Lord Brooke. The series aired on Rai 1, consistently achieving very high ratings, and the episodes were later rewatched on the RaiPlay streaming platform, further confirming strong audience approval.

Sandokan has also reached America, followed by Canada and the United Kingdom, allowing Yaman to feel satisfied after waiting years for this remarkable project—one that can truly make him a globally recognized actor.
