Demet Özdemir : Shoulder pads?
Demet Özdemir: Yes, I really love them lately. I even get them sewn into my T-shirts if they don't have any. Was it a deliberate choice? No, it just turned out that way.
Reporter : Eşref and Nisan from Eşref Rüya have captured Turkey's heart.
Demet Özdemir: I can say this clearly: No success happens alone. It's really a very long journey. What we call "mainstream" isn't simple—it can't be reduced to something basic. There are shooting schedules, releasing an episode every week, weather conditions, and so many other factors. But when you work with the right team, you feel stronger yourself, and success becomes inevitable. That's why I'm so happy to be working with such a team and production company.
Reporter : Let's hear from her about Nisan, who clears the dust from our ears with her songs and captivates everyone with her attitude and charisma.
Demet Özdemir: Honestly, at first it didn't feel comfortable to me. Because she sings, of course there are traumatic challenges in the story and many other elements. But when I asked myself, "Can I do this? Do I have the ability?" it just flowed naturally. Once I dove in, understanding Nisan became much easier, and bringing her to life did too.
Reporter : No one expected such amazing songs from her. Demet Özdemir has once again proven she's talented in every field.
Demet Özdemir: It just happened that way, really—at least I told myself that if something like this came my way, I should try to do it the best I could. People loved it, and I'm very happy. Honestly, I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. And speaking for myself, not being overly ambitious made me feel more at ease, especially since it was a field I'd never entered before—I won't lie.
Reporter : While her competitors constantly proclaim they're at the top, Demet is incredibly humble. Her words are like a lesson in themselves.
Demet Özdemir: I think I've set a certain standard for myself. Because I'm afraid that if I focus too much on goals, I'll miss the journey I'm on.
