In a recent interview, Turkish actress Hazal Kaya praised fellow actor Can Yaman for his international success, particularly his growing popularity in Italy and beyond. Emphasizing that his achievements are undeniable, Kaya said they make her proud and help open doors for other Turkish actors on the global stage

"Generally, when actors go abroad, that kind of attention/fan intensity here in Turkey used to be interpreted differently—people would say it's just PR agencies or whatever. But it's not. Let me say it firsthand: it's not.

It's really amazing. I mean, if you're talking about Can Yaman, his success absolutely cannot be ignored.That's why 'render unto Caesar what is Caesar's'—he's accomplished truly incredible things. And not just for me, but for all the Turkish actors working there with me, and even for many well-known and loved Turkish actors here who haven't had the chance to go abroad yet... honestly, it made my chest swell with pride."
