Sandokan Is Already on Rai 1 — And the Hype Is Still Going Strong
After years of anticipation, Sandokan finally debuted in prime time on Rai 1 on December 1, 2025, bringing Can Yaman to the screen as the legendary Tiger of Malaysia. The project, produced by Lux Vide, was filmed over four intense months and features an international cast that includes Alessandro Preziosi as Yanez de Gomera, Ed Westwick as Lord Brooke, and newcomer Alanah Bloor as Lady Marianna — the woman who captures the heart of the famous corsair created from Emilio Salgari’s imagination.
Can Yaman poured everything into this role, choosing to shoot his scenes without stunt doubles and pushing himself physically for the action-heavy sequences, while also delivering the more emotional, romantic moments tied to Sandokan’s story. Between special effects, adrenaline, and a storyline built on both adventure and reflection, the series has kept audiences talking well into the new year.
And now, fans have another reason to obsess: you can literally smell like Sandokan.
The Sandokan-Inspired Perfume Is On Sale Now
Just like any large-scale, international production, Sandokan comes with its share of themed merchandise — and yes, that includes fragrance. Online, a perfume by Compagnia delle Indie has been drawing attention: a scent called “Parfum De Voyager,” currently sold for a little over six euros on the brand’s official website.
The fragrance is built around iris and patchouli, designed to evoke the East and a sense of mystery — but also strength and determination. On the same website, at the same price point, there are also home diffusers available in four different scents.
