Afra Saraçoğlu Sets the Record Straight on Rumors She Refused Kissing Scenes in A.B.İ.

The rumor mill has been working overtime regarding Afra Saraçoğlu and her latest project, the hit ATV series A.B.İ. (Aile, Bağlar, İntikam). Allegations recently surfaced suggesting the actress had flatly refused to film a scripted kissing scene, sparking a wave of speculation across social media and tabloid headlines.

The fire was fueled by columnist Onur Akay, who claimed that Saraçoğlu—who portrays the character Çağla—had explicitly balked at a romantic sequence involving her co-star, industry titan Kenan İmirzalıoğlu. According to Akay’s report, the actress supposedly requested the scene be scrapped despite it being a pre-planned beat in the script.

However, Saraçoğlu isn’t letting the narrative spin out of control. Speaking to reporters ahead of a Tarkan concert, the actress addressed the controversy head-on with a firm rebuttal.

"I never made such a statement," Saraçoğlu clarified, dismissing the reports as baseless. "There is no such situation whatsoever."
