Can Yaman, More Muscular Than Ever at 36: I Get Comments From Ugly, Half-Jealous Men

At 36, Can Yaman is filming his first Spanish-language projects, and for them he has managed to get into the best shape of his life, building a superhero-like physique stronger than ever before.

Can Yaman, 36, has done it again. The actor, who is currently shooting his first Spanish-language projects in Spain, has left his millions of followers completely stunned with his jaw-dropping physique.

A few weeks ago, he surprised viewers on El Hormiguero by comparing his biceps, chest, and abs with Pablo Motos — who, at 60, can also boast an impressive body. Now, the Turkish actor has shared a mirror selfie taken in an elevator after training. It is a snapshot so packed with muscle there seems to be no room for anything else, and he used the moment to respond directly to all the criticism.

“Can Yaman’s secret? He uses steroids and injects himself with things because he’s rich. His legs are badly trained. Anyway, it’s all over the top. He doesn’t wake up at six in the morning to go work on a construction site. But yes, he has a secret: he’s simply lucky. There are better bodies than his. Blah, blah, blah. These are the kinds of comments ugly, half-jealous men leave me on social media,” the actor wrote alongside the photo.

One thing is certain: the actor can indeed claim to have one of the most sculpted bodies in the audiovisual industry. And it is clearly the result of daily training and the discipline of a committed, consistent performer.

“I wake up, have breakfast — eggs, avocado… — and then I go to the gym for two and a half hours. I completely overdo it because I like it,”
he recently told Tamara Falcó.

He goes running, boxes, does CrossFit, rides horses, and enjoys hand-to-hand combat — although he also handles a scimitar perfectly after training for Sandokan. Still, Can Yaman is, above all, a gym man. In fact, he weighs more than 100 kilos of pure muscle.

“I love it. It’s part of my life, it’s my lifestyle,” he told 20 Minutos. “I’ve been doing sports since I was a child, and for me it’s a philosophy of life: staying in shape and eating well is a priority in my career,” he added.

All of that, of course, goes hand in hand with a solid diet rich in protein and balanced with carbohydrates and healthy fats.

“I only have one obsession: everything I eat has to be tasty and full of flavor. That’s why I use everything from spices like cumin to seeds like flaxseed. Garlic to protect my immune system, magnesium, omega-3, and red ginseng, plus eggs and artichokes as essential foods. And when cravings hit, oat flour pancakes, bananas, and nuts are my saviors.”
