Can Yaman has had enough of the haters — and he’s sending them a message backed by a photo that leaves no doubt about how hard he’s worked for his body. Say what you want.
Even though he’s widely seen as one of the most attractive and fit men out there, it turns out Can Yaman has haters too. It's a well-known fact that you can find all sorts of people in the virtual world, and the the Turkish actor has been facing criticism about the physique he works hard to maintain through intense training and good nutrition — even though some people insist on suggesting he takes “something extra” to boost his muscular look.
Can Yaman has had enough. So much so that he decided to respond in the most Can Yaman way possible: by posting another full-on physique shot. In the photo, everything is defined from the waist up, and alongside it he shared a message filled with pride and a few pointed words for the haters.
“What’s Can Yaman’s secret?” he asks, before listing the accusations thrown at him: “He uses steroids and injects things because he’s rich. His legs are poorly trained. Anyway, it’s too much. He doesn’t wake up at six in the morning to go work on a construction site. But yes, he does have a secret: he’s simply lucky. There are better bodies than his.” Those are some of the jabs he says people throw at him — before addressing the kind of audience that tries to dismiss what he’s achieved through hard work: “These are comments left on my social media by ugly, half-jealous men.”
A Wave of Support
Truth be told, however, they seem to be in the minority. Because there are those who, by comparison, can't help but appreciate what's right in front of them. Just as Pablo Motos did back in the day. The actor had a live, shirtless face-off with the host of El Hormiguero. The Valencian presenter's reaction? "When I saw him without a shirt, I Was About to Go Home and Cry," Motos confessed from the bottom of his heart.
Under Yaman’s post, fans flooded the comments with support and messages that flipped the hate on its head. One fan wrote: “What a jackal says about the wolf tells us more about the jackal than the wolf… Because the finger that points at someone else’s flaws always ends up pointing back at the one who’s pointing… and without realizing it, they end up judging themselves… Don’t let the noise change your essence.”
Others added: “Comments from envious, frustrated people who don't have the discipline you do”; “I don’t even want to imagine opening an elevator and seeing something like that”; “Envy, my dear, comes from insecurity". “Talking is free—that’s why we read so much nonsense. Keep being you. The best thing to do is ignore it”; “Those who can't achieve what they criticize will always look for a reason to criticize it”; “Only people who have never worked out a day in their lives could criticize such a well-sculpted body”; “Those of us who truly love you and know how to appreciate your effort, talent, and dedication outnumber them...”
These are just a few of the messages showing him support and turning the tide on the hate he received from what is clearly a vocal minority. A true shower of love for one of the great icons of Turkish television.
