Jennie’s Paris trip hasn’t been easy. The BLACKPINK member, currently in the French capital to attend Chanel’s runway show, was swarmed by an intrusive crowd — and a video of the moment is now blowing up online.

A High-Stress Arrival

On March 9, an Instagram account shared a short video of Jennie in the streets of Paris, literally surrounded by a group of people. In the clip, you can hear questions about her time in Paris and compliments about her Chanel outfit — but what stands out most is how people crowd around her, block her path, and raise their voices to get her attention, clearly stepping into her personal space. According to witnesses, the group had been following her all day, and paparazzi were also reportedly among them.

Her manager had to ask the crowd to cooperate: “If she signs autographs, can you leave us alone afterward?” Jennie also spoke up politely: “Could I please have a little time for myself today?” before adding that the situation was “very stressful” for her.

Even so, the idol still signed autographs, though she seemed overwhelmed by the nonstop demands. At one point, she reminded people to “keep the promise” they had made earlier. When some individuals who had already gotten autographs asked for more, her manager had to step in. She also politely turned down requests for photos.

Online, many people are defending her, saying her personal space deserves to be respected. A lot of commenters point out that she still took the time to sign autographs despite the stress. Others suggest that some of the people blocking her path may not have been real fans at all, but individuals hoping to resell her autographs.
