The sudden decision to end Eşref Rüya, which aired on Kanal D and became one of the top-rated shows on television, shocked viewers. Following the finale announcement, numerous claims emerged about why the series had come to an end. One of the most widely discussed allegations was that Çağatay Ulusoy’s girlfriend, Aslıhan Malbora, frequently visited the set because she was uncomfortable with his intimate scenes with Demet Özdemir. Malbora responded to the claims, but her demeanor while doing so attracted attention.
Several theories have emerged about why the series ended, but the most talked-about one involved an alleged jealousy crisis on the part of Çağatay Ulusoy’s girlfriend, Aslıhan Malbora.
According to the claims, Malbora was uncomfortable with scenes showing Çağatay Ulusoy growing close to Demet Özdemir and therefore began visiting the set frequently. It was also alleged that Ulusoy asked for the romantic scenes in his storyline to be reduced as a result.
Malbora denied the allegations, though her gestures, facial expressions and overall demeanor during her response did not go unnoticed.
“Yes, I saw the claims. Apparently, I was constantly visiting the set and all that. Who is saying this? Please go and ask someone in an official position. You’ll get your answer. Unfortunately, people have become very cruel and malicious. There is absolutely no truth to it, and it has nothing to do with me. Major productions like this obviously couldn’t possibly have anything to do with me,” Aslıhan Malbora said.
