Can Yaman Reveals His Physical Insecurity
The situation is a little like Henry Cavill encouraging men to simply ask a woman out because she will surely say yes—something that is far from guaranteed when you are not Henry Cavill. Yet Can Yaman seems to have fallen into the same trap as guests on Francesca Fagnani’s show who claim their biggest flaw is being “too kind.”
Appearing on the Spanish version of C’è Posta per Te, titled Hay Una Cosa Que Te Quiero Decir, Yaman was asked by host Jorge Javier Vázquez what he would change about his appearance.
“What would I change about my body? There is one thing. It may not be the first thing I notice when I look in the mirror, but it would be my feet because they are very big. I wear a size 46. They’re genuinely huge, and I’m not saying that to brag—quite the opposite. They are often a problem because I can never find the right size in the shoes I actually like. Many times, I have to buy shoes I don’t really love.
“But the real problem is that all my toes are crooked. Yes, my toes are not straight at all. I played a lot of basketball, and that is one of the reasons they are now crooked and even overlap slightly.”
Can’s response made everyone burst out laughing. But then again, what physical flaw could anyone possibly find in the Turkish actor? He is tall, handsome, has incredible hair, a piercing gaze, looks good even without a beard and has more muscle than a Greek statue carved from marble. We understand—the feet can at least be covered up, and then no one has to think about them.
Can Yaman Makes a Confession About Love
During his appearance on Hay Una Cosa Que Te Quiero Decir, Yaman also answered several questions from host Jorge Javier Vázquez and spoke about his latest all-Italian project.
Yaman will star in the Lux Vide series Bro, reuniting with Giovanni Nasta after their work together on Viola come il Mare. Can shared a few details about his character, who will be very different from the roles he usually plays and certainly will not be a sex symbol.
But how does he deal with rejection in love?
“How do I handle being told no? I love hearing no. It’s fun, it challenges me, and it’s wonderful. It makes everything less easy, and in some way, it’s good to learn from it.”
Now we want the full names of anyone who has managed to give Can Yaman a firm “no” in recent years, because statistically speaking, such an occurrence must be incredibly rare. The truth is that the Turkish actor has probably never been rejected—which may be why he does not see it as a problem.
