Can Yaman Takes Aim at Barış Kılıç This Time Following a days-long war of words between Faruk Turgut and Can Yaman, Barış Kılıç—the Ömer of Kızılcık Şerbeti—stepped in to support Turgut.
The fallout from veteran producer Faruk Turgut’s interview with İzzet Çapa continues to reverberate. After days of an ongoing war of words between Faruk Turgut and Can Yaman, Barış Kılıç, known as Ömer in Kızılcık Şerbeti, came to Turgut's defense. Following this development, Can Yaman published yet another statement:
FROM WHERE I STAND, YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A SPECK
"Now you will see actors popping up to support the producer for cheap personal gain... Don't try to insert yourselves, you are not important... We also thought he was honest and fatherly once upon a time, until we found out what was going on behind our backs... You never generated that much money, so nothing was ever plotted behind your backs; you simply assumed the person across from you was honest... No problem, keep on doing what you do right where you are. From where I stand, you look like a speck...
NOBODY WORKS OUT OF PURE CHARITY Additional note: Those who claim he 'created' me with Erkenci Kuş should do some research on how many countries my previous project, Dolunay, was sold to. Then they can guess how much money I was going to make them on Erkenci Kuş. Nobody wants to work with an actor purely out of the goodness of their heart.
THEY DIDN'T WANT TO LET ME GET AWAY

THEY DIDN'T WANT TO LET ME GET AWAY
The way the character 'Can Divit' was interpreted was my own genius, not the producer's. I explained this at the time, which is why they were so scandalized... Most of it was improvised. That is why they messed with me, so they wouldn't lose me. Just so I would remain under the control of a single producer... My name meant guaranteed sales abroad. The balance of pay scales in the industry shifted, and the attacks began. I even believe the producer was behind the negative news stories that came out so that I would always remain dependent on him. Later on, during conversations with other producers, this belief of mine was only cemented.
MY CO-STAR WAS GRANTED FOREIGN RIGHTS
MY CO-STAR WAS GRANTED FOREIGN RIGHTS
Additional note: According to the information I've received, my co-star from Erkenci Kuş received her share of foreign sales; the director, the screenwriter, and the rest got theirs too, but I know the lies that the producer—who is supposedly known for his honesty (!)—made up to avoid paying me my rightful share... But by all means, continue to know him for his honesty and fatherly nature. That is what suits your interests best..."
