The sudden removal of Onur Dilber, who played the beloved character Gezep in TRT 1’s ratings hit Taşacak Bu Deniz, caused a major stir. Dilber announced on his social media account that he had been removed from the series, sparking numerous claims and heated discussions. Now, a new allegation has emerged about the actor.

Onur Dilber, who portrayed Gezep in Taşacak Bu Deniz, announced on his X account that he had been removed from the series.

Several claims were made about the departure, which remained a hot topic for days. Among the most-discussed allegations on social media were claims that Onur Dilber interfered with the writers and caused tension on set. Dilber later denied the claims made by journalist Birsen Altuntaş.

There were also claims that Onur Dilber had problems with Ulaş Tuna Astepe.

Journalist Birsen Altuntaş made new statements about Onur Dilber during a program she attended. Altuntaş said, “From the beginning of the season, as the actor became popular, his ego grew. He wanted a bigger share of the spotlight, to become more visible, and to have his name talked about more. He took part in an interview and asked, through his manager, for it to be turned into news. While I was preparing the story, one of the questions directed at him was about his co-star Burcu Cavrar. So I used the headline ‘Gezep’s Hicran Wound.’ I thought it sounded very sweet. I shared it with a photo of the two of them side by side. He was genuinely bothered by it. He asked why another actor was being mentioned in an article about him.That's when I realized this whole situation was heading off a cliff. When an actor tries to position himself above the rest of the team, elevating himself within that ecosystem and reaching a point where he say ‘I am the one here, I deserve this, my effort in this project is greater,’ then things begin to fall apart.”

Altuntaş went even further, claiming that Dilber wanted his character to be given romantic scenes similar to those written for Ulaş Tuna Astepe.
