Renowned Turkish belly dancer Didem Kınalı, known for her dance performances on İbrahim Tatlıses' entertainment program 'İbo Show,' recently transitioned into a singing career and started performing at various venues. Kınalı, who took the stage in Etiler the other day, made harsh criticisms about the actress Hande Erçel.

Transitioning from oriental dancing to singing, Didem Kınalı had mentioned before that she would make an effort to break the perception of her as just an "oriental dancer" and get everyone used to her as a "singer," despite encountering prejudiced individuals.

The famous artist said, "I will be taking the stage for the first time. I'm trying hard not to cry. I've even heard insults from close friends, saying that I shouldn't do this job. I've removed many people from my life. I'm not giving up dancing; if I don't dance, I'll die. I will perform in jobs without posters. This was my dream, and I've realized it. Those who want to see me can come to my shows."

The 37-year-old Kınalı performed at a venue in Etiler the other night. During an interview with the press before the concert, the singer said, "My performances are going very well. First, they say to me, 'Are you doing this too?' Then, when they listen to my voice, they say, 'It's good,'" she said, adding:

Sometimes, people even throw eggs. Some of my friends are among them. I've removed many people from my life; this is what life is like.

Critiquing today's TV series and actors, Didem also said, "First, I want to underline something. Hande Erçel has a lot of followers, and she's popular. I don't understand why she's popular. I don't even know the reason. Her acting skills are zero, or rather, non-existent. I apologize, she's a beautiful girl. That's it."

"The person I consider an actress is primarily Beren Saat. I keep watching 'Aşk-ı Memnu' repeatedly. I will never say a word against her acting. Also, Farah Zeynep Abdullah, Zerrin Tekindor; these are actresses," said Kınalı, continuing her harsh criticism:

"I don't like the acting of people like Hande Erçel, Serenay Sarıkaya, etc. They always have the same expression on their faces. For example, Ezgi Mola... Her acting is unquestionable."
