He's dedicated himself to embodying the character made famous by Kabir Bedi. He recently shared a picture of the first script reading on his Instagram profile.
However, there's a change in the role of Yanez in the Sandokan series. Luca Argentero will no longer play the part; it's now Alessandro Preziosi stepping in. The remake project of the popular 1970s series, which propelled Kabir Bedi to fame, was announced several years ago to modernize the storyline. It was Argentero who initially confirmed the production despite various delays. But now, things have taken a turn.
Can Yaman announced Luca Argentero's replacement with a playful video on Instagram. He laughs and jokes with Alessandro Preziosi in his Instagram story, showing they've already established a deep connection.
There's no information yet regarding Argentero's departure from the project. The actor hasn't commented on the news yet, but most likely, the Sandokan filming schedule wouldn't have allowed him to fulfill prior commitments, leading to his withdrawal.
